How to Integrate Clickfunnels and Skool

Hello my friends, welcome back! In this video, we're going to be connecting your Clickfunnels environment so you can automatically add people to your Skool membership. A lot of people are leveraging Skool because they like the format and the simplicity of it. So, what we're going to be going through is all the steps that you can leverage to connect those two together. Let's dive in!

Here we have a new Skool community, and the first thing to do is configure it with the basic information you need. Then, you're going to go into settings. In settings, go into plugins. There are two options: you can do this through Zapier or you can do this through Webhook. With the Webhook option, you can automatically add them to your community without needing to approve them when they come in.

All you have to do is click edit and toggle the on and off switch. You will get a URL that you're going to use. You don't see mine because it's blocked. All you have to do is leverage that URL to connect Zapier or Make for automation. So, how do we do that?

Let me copy this URL and go to Make. In Make, we're going to do a basic scenario similar to Zapier. The first thing that we're going to do is have a Webhook. When you configure that Webhook, it will give you a URL. This URL is what you're going to put in Clickfunnels. Let's copy this, go into my Clickfunnels, and in my Webhook, add that information into the workflow.

If you don't know how to add it, click plus, go to Webhook, and drop that URL. When you enable that, let's say basic opt-in, you can put an email address. As soon as I click the button to submit the form, it will send the information through the Webhook. This will receive them, and you need to decide what to do. I'm going to send that through an HTTP request to Skool so it can gather the information. Based on the Clickfunnels Webhook, the correct parameter is a data attribute.

How do I get that? Let me show you. After you create this, run the Webhook and make a submission. Submit, and when you get the information, it shows that the data came from Clickfunnels. Here you will see data attributes with all the information that is coming from Clickfunnels.

All that I need to do is come into my next step, put your Webhook URL that you grabbed from Skool, copy it, paste it, and add question email equals. Because you received the data, it will show it to you. Just grab the data and drop it. Make sure that everything is okay and save your scenario.

Now we can go back and check the history. We should see in under 30 seconds another entry. There you have it! Now we have a full entry, and we can see that it sent the request to my Skool. I'm going to get an email saying, "Hey, you are welcome to this new community in Skool. Just click here to join." As soon as I click, it will bring me back into this community.

So, there you have it, my friends! That's how you can connect Clickfunnels to Skool with a simple Webhook.
